Reproduction in Humans: Starting point

Today we start a new unit about the Reproduction in Humans.

We are going to study how human beings reproduce, which means having babies.

I know you already know a lot of things about this topic, so I will ask you to write a text or record an audio file expressing what you already know about human reproduction. To bring your ideas to your mind you can:

1. Watch the two videos on the Aula Virtual Santillana:

• What do you know about human reproduction?
• Newborn babies?

2. Have a look at pages 38 and 39 of your textbook.

 Then, to make your text or audio write or say at least 1 or 2 sentences about what you already know and one more about what you would like to know.

Empezamos una nueva unidad sobre la Reproducción Humana.

Vamos a estudiar como se reproducen los humanos, esto es, cómo tienes hijos.

Sé que tú ya sabes muchas cosas sobre este tema, así que te voy a pedir que escribas un pequeño texto o grabes un audio expresando lo que crees que ya sabes sobre la reproducción en humanos. Para hacer esto y traer las ideas a tu mente puedes:

1. Ver los vídeos del Aula Virtual Santillana:

• Newborn babies?

2. Echar un vistazo a las páginas 38 y 39 de tu libro de texto.

3. Después para hacer tu texto o audio escribe o dí al menos 1 o 2 frases sobre lo que sabes y una más sobre lo que te gustaría saber sobre este tema.

4. Envíamelo por correo electrónico a lolamaextra@gmail.com (o por el medio que puedas) .

Es el momento de evaluar lo que hemos aprendido y cómo nos hemos sentido a lo largo del trabajo de esta unidad (circulatory and excretory systems).

Vamos a ver lo que sabemos!!

Solo tienes que rellenar este cuestionario sobre los sistemas circulatorio y excretor.

Ahora mándame algunas ideas sobre cómo te has sentido durante el trabajo realizado en esta unidad, rellenando este cuestionario sobre tus sentimientos y experiencias tanto en el cole, como en estas dos últimas semanas.

También si quieres como EXTRA mándame un email expresando lo que quieras con un texto (en español o inglés) o un dibujo o las dos cosas.

Crea dos preguntas relacionadas con los sistemas circulatorio y excretor (no es necesario que sea una de cada sistema) y envíamelas a mi email (o por el medio que puedas).

You need to complete two group of exercises. Do one group of tasks (1, 2 or 3) each day.

When you finish take a picture of your work and send it to me as you did last week. If you have problems in doing so just keep your work in order until you show it to me.

Hola estáis haciendo unos trabajos excelentes! Ahora vamos a seguir con una tarea más teórica revisando los aspectos del tema que se os han quedado por ver.

Cada alumno/a tendrá que realizar dos de estos tres grupos de tareas que son de leer y escuchar las páginas del libro y realizar los ejercicios del Activity Book (no olvidéis indicar en el papel número de página y ejercicio, así como la fecha en que lo realizáis). Dependiendo de tu grupo de expertos tendrás que realizar un grupo de tareas u otro.

Los miembros del grupo A deben hacer las tareas 2 y 3,

Los miembros del grupo B deben hacer las tareas 1 y 3.

Los miembros de los grupos C y D deben hacer las tareas 1 y 2.

• Pulmonary circulation
• Look after your circulatory system
• Excretion

You can watch two of them per day, for not being overloaded.

If you finish this and want to do more or you have problems accessing Aula Virtual you can also do some exercises on page 32 (2,3,4 and 5). 

This is EXTRA WORK so you can take your time.
